At the last minute, Paul Feiner scheduled a public meeting this evening, Sunday, June 18, at which he will make a second request to change State laws in a manner that only affect Greenburgh.
Today, without any legally required notice, the Town Board held a special meeting to pass a resolution requesting New York State to amend the Village Laws under which hundreds of communities have incorporated forever. But the amendment would only apply to Greenburgh!
The Town reversed the Supervisor's acknowledgment of initial petition filing and tried to keep it a secret.
Hey Edgemont, your share of the unincorporated Town tax burden just grew nearly 10%.
