Town Hired Independent consultant provides preliminary view on Village of Edgemont tax bill impact
September 28th, 2016: The Edgemont Community Forum held an event on Wednesday where they brought in a former non-profit, independent governmental consultant, CGR, previously hired by Greenburgh. CGR provided a preliminary view based on the data available on the potential property tax bill impact to the residents of Edgemont.
The point CGR makes on this slide is that, subject to services, our tax rate would be lower to raise the same amount of money:
